Meats can be served as cocktail food. Suggested cocktail meats include
Grass fed beef brisket, when bought as part of a meal deal, precooked and pre-sliced. You can get cooked roast beef, sliced at cut number 1. Get the good stuff ¼ lb at a time. You can have it cut in slices up to 1” thick. Get three of four when it is your turn to make dinner for two.

Kosher Beef salami can be served for those who like to know what they are getting to eat. You may ask to have it sliced cross width. You could do the slicing cross width on your own.  You can cube the slices and place them on a tray or plate.

Beef sliders (mini hamburgers) may be served as cocktail food.

Beef wieners (cocktail franks) could be served as cocktail food. Hard to beat cocktail franks and honey mustard.

Pork bacon bits (or potted meat) and cream cheese make a tasty dip. (*R)

Put some fat in your meat. Put some street in what you eat.

Other suggestions for cocktail food:

Calabresse: hard salami hot (for the guys,) deli-sliced lengthwise as well as

Salmanetti deli-sliced lengthwise, each can be used as
cocktail food, but

For sandwiches you may bring a B Jack from Jack, served opened face, and you can cut it into quarters. How about that, a sandwich without a sauce!

Remember some people you know will not eat meat. Some
cannot reciprocate the treat. Some cannot eat pork. For them there can be poultry.

Poultry can be served as cocktail food, cold rotisserie sliced chicken pieces, lightly sprinkled with seasoning, and set atop a round cracker beats the hell out of a chip. Poor chicken and turkey, to be considered good meat by the masses you only have to have had a tail and wings. You could even sneak in Seafood. Some only eat fish: animal protein that once had a scales, fins and tails, or birds: protein that once had feathers. Get a little flush. Have the deli make a chicken wing combo tray. Does not cost as much as you think. And you know what your friends like.

Look for deals during holidays, some stores give away turkeys. Some even pre-cook them for you. Animal meat is a complete protein; it still needs a condiment: mustard.

Diseased cells like good meat, it helps them grown fast. You can avoid meat until the cure or you can serve them dark meat chicken, even with the skin. They agree with your RD; neither like it.
